PROTOCOLS AND PROCEDURES

EyeQ Optometry has returned to routine care.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the safety and well-being of our patients and our staff remained our number one priority.  Now that it is endemic (and we are generally more conscious of virus transmission), our team continues to go beyond expectations to ensure that everyone who enters our practice is as safe as possible.  We would like you to know the steps that we will ask you to follow as well as the steps we are taking.

We will ask our patients to follow these procedures:

  • Please reschedule your appointment if:

    • You are experiencing symptoms and/or have tested positive for COVID-19 or any other illness (including cold and flu), and/or

    • You have been in direct contact with anyone with COVID-19 symptoms within the last 7 days

  • Masks are optional but they are recommended while in the office and during your appointment.

  • Come to your appointment alone (unless accompanying a minor).

  • When arriving, please wait until staff lets you in the door.

  • If you wear contact lenses, please bring your glasses with you since you will be asked to remove your contact lenses.

The procedures we follow:

  • All surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected daily.

  • All eyeglass frames will be cleaned and disinfected after being touched.

  • Hand sanitizer is located in every area of the office.

  • Door-side pick-up is available, as needed.
